Back Home Sweet Home from a lovely vacation in the mountains of North Carolina. So refreshing and cool and well, mountainous! I highly recommend the Asheville area to all gypsy travelers.
Let’s talk Transparencies…the ink jet type!
I’m working on a new journal…”Angels in the Garden”…which is comprised of many images printed on transparencies from my garden…like this one:
The above transparency is shown on top of a mat board painted gold.
Let’s make a little magic with Silks Acrylic Glazes! I chose a green and yellow. Remember, you can mix to create your own tints as well.
The above photo reveals “the magic”! Always paint on the rough side of the transparency!
You’re not limited to solid backgrounds for display of your transparencies. Above, I’ve glued a tissue paper print to mat board for a background…
Here’s the look with the transparency…how about another?
More painted tissue and….
Another style for the transparency! Great fun and endless possibilities for transformations. Hope you’ll experiment and share your creations as well.
As always, Thanks for popping by and Have an excellent Thursday!
